During the year prior to the summer of 1978, the Philadelphia media were virtually non-stop in their reporting coverage of the back-to-nature group known as MOVE. Much of that coverage had to with the Philadelphia Police Department’s and other Philadelphia city agencies ongoing interactions with them. It was not pretty.
